Designed by Anna Benson, the DVD has a menu & chapters, and is packaged in a full-sized, shrink-wrapped DVD case. A preview of this workout is available at Anna Benson Workouts on You Tube. Both fitness & video experts judged this production to be “the best.” And FIRM users agree: in an independent poll of thousands of FIRM users, 99% called it the “most effective” of all workouts they’ve ever used. The FIRM typically produces results within 10 workouts. After a cardio/stretch warm-up (5 Min.), this 60 min. workout features 3 cardio +weights intervals (13 Min., 12 Min. & 12 Min.). Each has body-specific cardio, before appropriate resistance-sculpt. The 4th interval (18 Min.) alternates floor sculpt with same-muscle stretches. The diverse choreography has both exercise variety & effective sequencing. Like many high-budget movies, the music was scored to a rehearsal video. Actress/Dancer Sandahl Bergman is a polished performer with excellent technical virtuosity. A fit, attractive cast of 20 with different body types & ages, illustrate Ms. Bergman’s easy-to-follow instructions. Appropriate for intermediate to advanced exercisers. Recommended Equipment: Beginners can start with no weights. Light dumbbells (3-8 lbs.), heavy dumbbells (10-15 lbs.), tall 14″ step & optional ankle weights (2-5 lbs. per leg).
